Initial visits require at least a 50 min. session to allow time for a history and an assessment to be taken. This will guide the strategy for our treatment session.
WHAT to WEAR:
For those who prefer to get completely undressed or wear undergarments, you will be properly draped with comfortable linen. If you prefer not to get undressed, you can wear shorts and a shirt of thin cotton material to allow effective work to be done. There are also gowns & shorts available at our clinic, for your convenience.
INTAKE FORMS:
On your first visit (if you are new to the clinic), you will be asked to fill out an intake form to get important and relevant information that will guide our session. You may arrive 5 to 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment to complete the forms.
DURING YOUR SESSION:
Your comfort is of utmost importance. Please feel free to offer any feedback or ask any questions AT ANY TIME during your session. Communication is vital between us.
We will begin your session with a series of questions about the history of your body (such as injuries and activities) and go through a brief orthopedic assessment to give us a better idea of what your body is currently going through and what our treatment / massage therapy & body work approach will be. Then continue with the actual Massage & Body work required SPECIFICALLY for your condition.
